KING LLAMA plays progressive music for progressive minds. Based in Los Angeles, the band is a progressive power trio that has toured from Illinois to Argentina playing their brand of instrumental fusion.

The music is a journey encompassing elements of rock, jazz and funk. Each composition demonstrates a sense of adventure, and evolves through various moods, surprisingly unique grooves, changes and poly-rhythmic odd-time dynamics. While unique in itself, KING LLAMA’s vibe evokes music ranging from King Crimson and Phish, to Yes and Rush.

THE WORD

"King Llama draw from an impressive range of musical styles to forge their own brand of acid-jazz and prog-rock "
- RELIX MAGAZINE

"Return To Ox is one of the most impressive progressive fusion albums I have heard lately and is a true band effort. The whole album is in harmony and it's like you can feel the chemistry in the air when you listen to this album. ...Obligated for fusion aficionados. "
- Pedro Bekkers, BACKGROUND MAGAZINE

"Prog fusion rock stuff. Fun serious music. Serious fun music. King Llama's Return To Ox is all of that and more! "
